ABOUT THE CLASS

THU at 9:00 AM - 11:15 AM

Class meets in-person Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 11:15 beginning in September 2024 at St. Stephen's Church in Sewickley, PA.  Virtual core groups are also offered Thursday mornings and evenings.

Currently Studying: Ruth and Samuel, Ephesians

The Old Testament Books of Ruth and Samuel describe the faith journeys of men and women like us.  Ephesians tells the story of God's eternal plan to unite people who had been estranged from Him and one another into a beautiful community that reflects His glory to the world and even to the spiritual realms.  

Coming in September 2024 we will be studying the Gospel of Matthew.  Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus's life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah.  In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew's message:  Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with babies, and going through kindergarten.
